Last race of season at Montana Raceway Park

The auto racing season at Montana Raceway Park concludes this weekend with two nights of action planned.
It all starts Friday with Grudge Match street drags presented by the Rocky Mountain Street Machines. Anyone 16-and-over is welcome to bring their car out and race in the 100-foot drags.
The action will start at 7 p.m. and is free to the public. For more information, call 892-7218.
On Saturday, it's racing for season championships with the Bandolero 25, Limited Sportsmen, Hobby Stocks, Compacts, Bombers and Flathead Legends. Time trials start at 6 p.m. with racing at 7.

Last Saturday, Devon Clayton captured his first main event win in the Bandoleros. He started the race in the fourth spot as Trevor Corpron held the pole position. Corpron has a two-point lead on Giles Thornton in the season standings heading into Saturday's race.
Brent Keller led from start to finish to pick up the victory in the Thunder Roadster main event.
Other main event winners were: Hobby Stock, Jed Shue; Flathead Legends, Wrango West; Limited Sportsman, Dick Robinson; and Hornets, Dirk Meyer.
In the Hobby Stock's season points race, 28 points separate Shue and Corey Pilsch. Only two points separate West and Scott Dalla in the Flathead Legends.
Jason Robinson is the Limited Sportsman points leader with Danny Morris second.
