MISSOULA - The Wolfpack's comeback bid fell short Tuesday as the Glacier High School volleyball team lost to Missoula Sentinel 25-19, 25-18, 19-25, 25-9.

Glacier's Emilee Hashley had 12 kills, 13 digs and three aces, while Kayla Smart had 10 kills and 21 digs.

Lindsea Vaudt tallied 32 assists for the Wolfpack, which fell to 1-3 in Western AA play and 1-8 overall.

"We showed improvement today," Glacier coach Christy Harkins said. "I was really pleased with Kendra Bouley. She's a freshman, who plays JV, and she was pulled up to varsity and was very aggressive and did a great job."

Bouley had Glacier's lone block.

The Wolfpack visits Flathead on Saturday at 1 p.m.

"We still need to work on the basics of serving and passing," Harkins said. "If we can clean up our serving and passing errors, we'll win a few more games."

Whitefish JV

Dana Topp had 10 kills as Stillwater Christian picked up a tough victory Tuesday over Whitefish JV.

Portia Elletson added nine kills and Abby Smith had 26 assists and two blocks as Stillwater downed the Bulldogs 25-14, 25-12, 22-25, 21-25, 15-13.

Torie Powell had 15 kills and 18 digs for Whitefish. Jade Hansen had 25 assists.

Topp had nine kills in Stillwater's 5-game victory Monday over Flathead JV.

Scores there were 25-16, 20-25, 24-26, 25-20 and 15-7.
