Man arrested for alleged assault

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 23-year-old man on Cynthia Drive for partner assault after he allegedly pushed his wife into the wall. The couple's daughter called 911.

A 13-year-old boy shot himself in the foot with a BB gun. He was taken to the emergency room where doctors removed a BB from his toe.

A rabbit and a cat were found shot at the Hope Ranch. The cat will survive; the rabbit didn't make it.

A woman on Peck Road felt her ex-husband owed her a little more money and transferred some funds out of his bank account.

Another cat got out of line on Mountain View Drive. This one was eating birds in a neighbor's yard.

Deputies responded to a domestic abuse call on Denver Avenue where a woman claimed her spouse broke her finger. Deputies, however, knew her finger had been broken prior to that night. The pair was counseled and separated.

A mailbox on Foothill Road was cut down with a chain saw.

Bears were spotted on Deer Trail in Whitefish, on Montana 40 near Columbia Falls, and on U.S. 2 in Columbia Falls.
