Asher Anderson, 19 days

Asher Anderson, 19 days, passed away Friday, March 21, 2008, at Oregon Health Science University in Portland.

"We received an amazing gift from God when Asher was born March 3, 2008. He was the answer to many prayers. God allowed us the blessing of being his parents for 19 days, for which we will always be thankful. We enjoyed every minute of it! And now, even though we are hurting at his loss, we know we will be with him again in Heaven."

Asher is survived by his parents, Troy and Lori (White) Anderson, of Salem, Ore.; grandparents, Rob and Cheryl Anderson of Dallas, Ore., Faye Anderson and Scotty Lethan of Salem, and Renn and Robin White of Columbia Falls. Survivors also include an uncle and aunt, Brian and Nina White, and cousins, Camden and Kiera, of Salem; and an aunt and uncle, Kim and Jody Waverek, and cousins, Justin, Cole and Max, all of Kalispell.

A memorial service was held March 27 at Salem Heights Church in Salem.
