Geraldine Rae 'Geri' (Weaver) Jammaron, 79

Geraldine Rae "Geri" (Weaver) Jammaron, 79, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2008, in Kalispell. Geri was born in Portland on Dec. 4, 1928, the daughter of Gerald R. and Pauline M. (Teasley) Weaver.

She was raised in the Portland area and received her bachelor's degree in education there.

In 1947, she married Theodore H. Johnson in Portland.

Geri primarily worked as a furrier and designer. She also appreciated art, music and literature.

She was a member of the DAR.

Her granddaughters fondly remember how Geri taught them to parallel park.

Geri is survived by three daughters, Barbara Johnson of Marion, Karen Johnson of Portland, and Christine Wheeler of Everett, Wash.; two sisters, Martha Coombs of King City, Ore., and Patricia Dorr of Lake Oswego, Ore.; three grandchildren, Julie Brazzil of Portland, Cheryl Jones of Spokane, and Susan Hovey of Seattle; and two great-grandchildren, Aili Anne Jones and Halle Elizabeth Jones.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
