That's today's lesson gleaned from the Flathead County's Sheriff's Office.

Several months ago, a Columbia Falls area man's gun was stolen. Recently, a neighbor asked him to house sit. The house sitter allegedly found his stolen gun Sunday morning in his neighbor's home, with the serial number intact.
