Margaret A. Iverson, 82

Margaret A. Iverson, 82, of Kalispell passed away Friday, April 11, 2008, at her home. She was born Dec. 14, 1925, in Conrad, to George and Marie (Nelson) Beattie.

Margaret married Kenneth H. Iverson on Feb. 21, 1946, in Conrad, and the family moved to the Lake Blaine area in 1952. She was always at home with the lake, her flowers and the mountains.

Margaret belonged to a pinochle group for more than 40 years. She was a talented and inspired cook, hostess and card player. Margaret liked hearing and telling a good joke, especially to her chiropractor, Ed Wettach.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her parents; her son-in-law, Jim Worthington; and a sister.

She is survived by her son, Greg Iverson, of Kalispell; daughters, Lynnelle Worthington of Kalispell, and Anita Iverson of Belgrade; a granddaughter, Nichole Bemis, and husband, Jeff; grandson, Ty Iverson, and wife, Rebecca; great-grandchildren, Jeffrey and Michael Bemis, Britton Iverson and a great-granddaughter due in May. She also is survived by two sisters, one brother, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Additionally, she leaves behind her dog, Cosette, to whom she was extremely close.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to her wonderful hospice nurse, Megan.
