Susan (Stark) Baumeister

Susan (Stark) Baumeister, 59, of Billings, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2008, following an extended battle with cancer. Born May 2, 1948, to Floyd and Julie Stark, Susan attended school in Frankfurt, Germany, and Kalispell, graduating from Flathead High School in 1966.

After graduating from the University of Idaho, she traveled, married and divorced twice, and eventually settled in Billings, where she worked for local beverage distributors. Sue retired last year from Briggs Distributing.

Susan is survived by her two sons, Matt Jaeger and wife, Christy, of Billings, and Derek Baumeister of Las Vegas; as well as grandchildren Alden, Paisley and Celia Jaeger. She is also survived by her brother, Bruce Stark, of Missoula; and sister, Joan Gates, and husband, Bob, of Kalispell; as well as niece, Alice Gates, of Missoula; and nephew, Sam Gates, of Bozeman.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to Help for Homeless Pets. A belated memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 24, at the Cremation and Funeral Gallery in Billings.
