Flathead's David Lau, Tanner Beaman and Shawn Lau are All-Americans in USA Wrestling FILA.

The three competed in the 20-and-under age bracket at the Greco-Roman National Championships in Las Vegas this week. The top eight finishers in all weight classes are named All-Americans.

Lau played fifth at 174 pounds, Beaman seventh at 138 and Shawn Lau eighth at 132.

David Lau's fifth-place showing also qualifies him for a spot this summer to train at the Olympic Training Center with the U.S. World Team. Lau has signed a letter-of-intent to wrestle at Dickinson State University.

Flathead's Brian Ham, 145; Bryce Stacy, 154; and Tyler Wells, 163, also competed in the Greco-Roman National Championships.

Wells has signed a letter-of-intent to wrestle at North Dakota State University.

Flathead's wrestlers, including Ryan Swelland, 119, are now competing in the high school division at the Western Regionals in Greco and Freestyle in Las Vegas. That tournament began Wednesday and runs through Friday.

Flathead head wrestling coach Jeff Thompson said those two are the toughest tournaments in the country for a high school wrestler to compete in.
