Jerry Wesley Walker, 64,

passed away on Friday April 25, 2008, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell. Jerry was born on May 1, 1943, in DeMotte, Ind., to Robert L. and Bernice (Fischer) Akers. He graduated from Rolling Prairie High School in 1961.

He was the previous owner of the Shady Lane Roller Rink, worked as a carpenter and had been an entrepreneur.

Jerry loved his family, enjoyed water skiing, fishing, TV, computers, taking pictures and staying in touch with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bernice Akers, and a granddaughter, Lydia Rose Stuthman.

Jerry is survived by his children, Debbie Jean Stuthman, Bill Walker, Lance Walker, Angela Lemburg, Rebbecca Daffern, Emily Betts and Wesley Walker; one sister, Linda L. Akers; grandchildren, Kathrine Stuthman, Dylan, Kaylee and Alyssa Walker, Hayden, Medaline and Summer Walker, Hannah, Halley, Peyton and Gage Lemburg, Adreanna and Aric Daffern, and Maitlynn Betts.

A celebration of Jerry's life will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at 273 School Addition Road in Somers.
