Man carries bear cub in cooler

Flathead County Sheriff

A man at an Evergreen fast food restaurant reportedly had a live bear cub in a cooler and was showing it around. Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to the restaurant after receiving an anonymous complaint, but the man was gone when they arrived.

Tools were taken from a work shed at a sawmill northwest of Columbia Falls.

A Solberg Drive woman allegedly broke the window out of a neighbor's vehicle.

Medication was reported stolen on Cobbler Way.

A Bald Rock Road woman reported receiving threatening phone calls from a person in California.

Deputies responded to River Place and separated an arguing couple reportedly going through a divorce.

Deputies are investigating reports that a 7-year-old Hodgson Road boy was kicked by a non-related adult.

Deputies convinced a man, who had been drinking, to leave a Sandy Lane residence after getting into an argument with his girlfriend. The other option was arrest.

A Lore Lake Road resident complained about a neighbor's 7-year-old daughter playing on his property. The neighbors are reportedly disputing ownership of that land.

A gun was stolen from a Lakeside Boulevard residence.

Kalispell Police

Kalispell police responded to U.S. 2 and Woodland Park Drive where two teenage boys were holding up signs informing passersby they had been kicked out of their homes. When officers asked what they were doing, the boys said they were trying to raise a little extra cash and they had heard something similar worked for some friends.

A man who visits a Fourth Street West residence for English lessons had his tires slashed.

Officers counseled a man suspected of trespassing at a Main Street business. They also counseled the person making the complaint.

Someone tried to fraudulently obtain a prescription at a pharmacy on South Main Street.

Columbia Falls Police

Columbia Falls police arrested two minors for possession of alcohol after responding to a reported disturbance on Martha Road.

People involved in an argument on Beth Road left before officers arrived.

A woman's ID was stolen from a Martha Road home.

Windows were damaged on Ninth Street West, possibly by a BB gun.

Alarms

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to Conrad Drive and took a woman believed to have overdosed to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Creston Fire Department responded to Montana 206 for what turned out to be a controlled burn.

The Evergreen Fire Department and Kalispell Fire Department responded to a rollover accident on West Evergreen Drive, but the driver wasn't found. nowhere to be found.
