Idaho team drops Glacier

KELSO, Wash. - The Glacier Prep All-Stars suffered their second setback at the 2008 13-year-old Pacific Northwest Regional Tournament on Friday.

Meridian, Idaho, doubled the score on Glacier in an 8-4 baseball victory.

Meridian scored twice in the first inning and pushed three more runs across the plate in the second inning.

Colin King again led the Glacier offense. He singled twice and stole a base.

Glacier finished pool play in the American Division with a 2-2 mark.

Meridian (3-1) advances to the championship round today along with Kelso (3-0) from the American Division.

Kelso played Hazel Dell Metro on Friday.
