GREAT FALLS - Pat Hergesheimer hit a 2-run homer as part of a 4-run fourth inning and the Kalispell Lakers rallied to beat the Great Falls Stallions 8-2 early Sunday morning in loser-out action at the Class AA American Legion baseball tournament at Centene Stadium.

The Lakers trailed Great Falls 2-0 going into the fourth, but Derek Keller got Kalispell started with a single to center. He advanced to second base on a wild pitch, then scored on Ben Sansaver's RBI double.

Sansaver got to third on a wild pitch and scored on a throwing error by the Great Falls shortstop.

Meanwhile, Adam Olson got aboard on a fielder's choice and was on for Hergesheimer's shot to left field.

Hergesheimer finished the day 2-for-4. Olson was 1-for-3 and also hit a home run. Leadoff batter Derek Keller was 2-for-4.

Kalispell added another run in the fifth, two more in the sixth and a final run in the seventh.

On the mound, Tyler Reichhoff held Great Falls to four hits. He walked four, struck out eight and hit one batter.

The defense behind him was superb - Kalispell recorded two double plays and committed no errors.
