Man warned about public urinating

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to a Columbia Falls storage facility after a man in a black Dodge pulled onto the property, got out of his vehicle, and began urinating. At the facility owner's request, deputies tracked the man down and warned him about indecent exposure.

A Stag Lane resident complained about being harassed by her daughter's ex-boyfriend and his mother.

A Dunmovin Lane resident allegedly threatened to shoot a neighbor's dog if it strayed onto the property again.

In separate incidents, a group of rafters and a group of cavers both recreating near Polebridge were reported missing. Both parties, it turns out, were fine.

Deputies broke up a domestic argument at a residence on U.S. 2 that somehow involved the couple and their neighbor.

A Yeoman Hall Road resident complained about some unsafe, rapid-fire shooting in the area, but all was quiet when deputies arrived.

Deputies counseled and separated a couple arguing in Martin City.

Seven kids were spotted running around Evergreen Junior High School and looking in the windows. They were gone when deputies arrived.

Four-wheelers speeding loudly on Tamarack Lane prompted a resident to call deputies with a noise complaint.

Items, including a CD player, were stolen from vehicles parked on West Reserve Drive.

Deputies received 141 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

A man walked into a North Meridian Road business and asked an employee to slit his throat. When he returned the next day and went behind the building, employees wisely called Kalispell police.

A passerby heard four boys talking about putting stuff on the railroad tracks by U.S. 93 North, looked into it, and discovered a car axle and metal pole across the rails.

Medication and $150 was taken from a bag left unattended at Depot Park.

Officers separated family members arguing on Third Street West.

Kids hanging around a First Avenue East North parking lot were told to go home, but officers were unable to discover the alleged fire that originated a passerby's complaint.

People fighting down the street from a College Avenue resident were gone when officers arrived.

Kids taking pictures outside a Three Mile Drive business frightened a clerk, who was there alone. Turns out the kids, who said they were amateur astrologers, were taking pictures of the sky.

A man and woman each accused the other of making threatening phone calls.

Signs were vandalized on Three Mile Drive and Fly Way.

Someone threw a rock through the window of a vehicle parked on Sixth Avenue East.

Officers received 65 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Sunday and 2:30 p.m. Monday.

Whitefish police arrested two 16-year-olds and a 15-year-old for stealing gas from vehicles, as well as the gas can into which they were siphoning the fuel.

Officers received 50 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Columbia Falls police responded to a park near the city pool. A 5-year-old needed extrication from a swing for which he was too big. The child was not injured.

Officers received 21 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a crash on Evergreen Drive and took one of the people involved to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Coram Fire Department and Canyon Quick Response Unit responded to a motorcycle crash on U.S. 2 near West Glacier. The rider, a man, was taken to North Valley Hospital.

The Coram Fire Department also responded to what was reported as a vehicle rollover on U.S. 2 near mile marker 151.

The Somers Fire Department responded to School Addition Road where a wire was seen sparking.

The Hungry Horse Fire Department responded to a hit gas line on Firth Avenue North.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department, Evergreen Fire Department, Blankenship Fire Department, and Three Rivers EMS responded to a grass fire on Hodgson Road.
