Flathead County sheriff

A 25-year-old man from Florida pulled up to a woman selling huckleberries outside a box store on U.S. 2 in Evergreen and asked how much they cost. When the woman looked inside the man's blue minivan, she noticed he was fondling himself. The woman wrote down the man's license plates and called Flathead County Sheriff's deputies, who tracked the man down and cited him for indecent exposure. The man was in town visiting his mother, who lives in West Glacier.

Employees of a West Idaho Street telecom business called to complain about somebody putting garbage in their Dumpsters.

Graffiti was found on the walls of a bakery on U.S. 2. A school building across the street was also spray painted.

The fence around a school on Farm to Market Road was damaged.

A California woman called police in that state to report an Evergreen woman for allegedly abusing her children. The Evergreen woman called deputies to report the California woman for making false reports to police.

Money was taken from a wallet left on a pump at a gas station near the intersection of U.S. 2 and Montana 40.

Two guitars were taken from a residence on River Butte Drive.

Someone on a four-wheeler was tearing across lawns at a Tamarack Lane trailer court.

An Obama political sign and a metal moose statue were taken from a Swan River Road lawn.

The owner of a four-wheeler on U.S. 2 reported it stolen when the repo man came to collect it. The owner later called back, accusing the repo man of defrauding creditors.

A middle-aged man scared a 9-year-old on Echo Lake Road, prompting a suspicious activity complaint to deputies.

A former employee of an Evergreen grocery store once accused of stealing beer and told not to return was spotted in the parking lot. He was gone when deputies arrived.

Deputies responded to Mission Trail, where a woman reported seeing five people beat up her boyfriend. Turns out it was a bail bondsman and the complaint was unfounded.

A Conrad Drive person reported for threatening another person with a gun actually wasn't.

Deputies separated for the night a man and woman fighting in Hungry Horse. Neither party wished to press charges.

A Hungry Horse resident called deputies to report that a family member was trying to kill another family member with a knife. The suspect was taken to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.

Somebody spray-painted a van outside a flower shop on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

A contract employee allegedly threatened other employees of a business on Montana 35.

Teenage boys were observed pulling tomatoes off the vine on Sweetgrass Lane and smashing them all over cars.

A 12-year-old autistic boy was reported missing from the Kokanee Bend area of Columbia Falls.

Deputies received 159 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Kalispell police

A woman told Kalispell police she overheard rumors of a fight between "Canyon boys" and "Kalispell boys" to take place at the skate park.

Two men and a baby were allegedly camping behind a North Meridian Road apartment complex, but weren't there when deputies arrived.

When a customer went to pick up a surround-sound receiver being worked on at an Eighth Avenue West business, he was told it was no longer there.

A 15-year-old Second Street West girl reportedly impersonated her mother to make changes to the cell phone account.

A South Meridian Road resident has an ongoing problem with the neighbors urinating on her fence and bushes. They also allegedly yell obscenities and threats.

Some kids threw a rock off the bridge over Underpass Hill and then ran off.

CDs and a radar detector were stolen from a car at a hotel on U.S. 93 South. Three guns were stolen from two vehicles at a Fifth Avenue West North residence. Tools were taken from a truck parked on Eighth Avenue West. A gun and backpacking equipment were taken from a car on Northridge Drive.

Officers were told a man followed a First Avenue West woman home and then knocked on her door. She didn't answer it. The woman told police she had also seen the man hanging around both her workplaces.

Officers counseled a rowdy group of people approaching cars at the intersection of Main and Third streets.

Officers responded to Fourth Avenue West, where a neighborhood kid was throwing rocks at a woman's vehicle.

Officers received 78 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Whitefish police

A bottle of cologne and some pills were stolen from a room at a resort on U.S. 93. Whitefish police took the report.

Officers received 40 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police responded to Fourth Avenue West and arrested a 19-year-old man on a warrant for failure to appear in court.

Items belonging to a 24-year-old man with a warrant out of Lincoln County for contempt of court were turned in to police. When he arrived to claim his property, he was arrested.

Officers received 26 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Alarms

The ALERT helicopter, Kalispell Fire Department, Somers Fire Department and Lakeside Quick Response Unit responded to a rollover crash on U.S. 93. The car rolled several times down a hill. Two people were taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Somers Fire Department responded to an illegal burn off Blacktail Road.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to Wisconsin Avenue, where a pedestrian and vehicle collided, but no one was taken to the hospital.
