Columbia Falls police responded to Seventh Street West after a resident reported an attempted alien abduction. It was unfounded.

A cat reportedly was shot in the Martha Road area.

Flathead County sheriff

Flathead County sheriff's deputies responded to reports of some suspicious activity at a Hungry horse gas station and ended up arresting a man on suspicion of drug possession.

Windows of a car parked on Parklane Drive in Evergreen were spray-painted. Graffiti was also found on a car and camper parked along the same road.

A window was broken out of a Woodland Park Drive office, but nothing appeared to be missing.

Deputies were unable to find a person reportedly jumping into the middle of U.S. 93 west of Whitefish.

Neighbors in Martin City got into an argument over allegations that some children were misbehaving.

Deputies counseled a 13-year-old boy, who was causing his parent problems in the Evergreen area.

Kalispell police

Someone cut the head off a rabbit and left the body on a vehicle owned by a Seventh Avenue East North business. Kalispell police took the report.

A man parked at a thrift store on U.S. 93 South was taking pictures of people coming and going at a convenience store across the street. Turns out he was just trying out a new camera.

Officers received 74 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
