Man upset about broken possessions

A man called Flathead County Sheriff's deputies to report his ex-girlfriend, who allegedly was breaking his belongings at a Whitefish Stage Road residence. Responding deputies determined little damage had been done. Three hours later the man called back, saying he was receiving threatening phone calls from the same woman.

Kids arguing at the end of a North Hilltop Road woman's driveway were gone when deputies arrived.

Deputies helped a man and his daughter arguing on Smith Lake Road to settle their differences.

A raft was reported stolen from a Coram outfitter.

A woman at a motel on Montana 35 in Evergreen was threatened by a man who knew her husband. Deputies helped the parties involved work the problem out.

Someone damaged an outhouse at a Grayling Road construction site.

A Gamma Road resident called deputies to complain about trespassers dragging a raft across their property. Deputies told the resident to call back if it happened again.

Four boaters reported missing on the South Fork of the Flathead River returned unharmed.

A man attending a house party on Stone Crest Drive left his keys with a designated driver. Later, the truck turned up wrecked in a field.

Someone stole a set of golf clubs from a garage on Mud Lake Road.

Deputies arrested a 33-year-old man on suspicion of his fourth DUI after he parked on the side of U.S. 2 near mile marker 156 and played his music loudly enough to attract attention.

Officers arrested a 36-year-old man for partner assault. While they were there, officers picked up a 23-year-old man with an outstanding warrant. He was not involved in the disturbance.

Two woman were observed swapping the price tags on clothing, specifically a pair of boots, at a store on U.S. 2.

Someone stole a hookah from a car at a motel on First Avenue East. A GPS unit was stolen from a car at the same motel.

A kid on South Meridian Road shot another kid with a BB gun, multiple times. The victim decided not to press charges, for the present.

Officers received 77 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Sunday and 2:30 p.m. Monday.

A Colorado Avenue resident told Whitefish police tires and stereo equipment had been stolen. Later in the day, items were reported stolen from a vehicle on the same street.

Cash and medication were reported stolen from a Karrow Avenue residence.

Officers received 37 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Columbia Falls police were told a 52-year-old woman went missing from a Fourth Street East North residence. She was quickly found.

Reports of yelling at a 12th Avenue West residence turned out to be a loud 3-year-old.

Officers are investigating a reported break-in at a liquor store on U.S. 2.

The ALERT helicopter took a 60-year-old woman who fell 30 feet down an embankment to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Martin City Fire Department and Three Rivers EMS responded to a crash on the Old U.S. 2, but nobody need transport to the hospital.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to Commons Way, where a toaster was smoking, and to Empire Loop, where garbage was on fire.

The Creston Fire Department responded to Foothill Road after receiving reports of smoke, which turned out to be a wood-burning boiler heating up.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a single-story home on Cougar Trail after fire in the stove started burning into the roof.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department extinguished a small fire in a pile of sawdust behind a park on U.S. 2.
