Roy Allen Moore, 42, of Hungry Horse passed away Aug. 26, 2008, in a horrific vehicle accident. Roy was born in Great Falls on June 10, 1966, to David and Joanne. Shortly after, he moved to Havre, where he graduated from Havre High in 1984. He later moved to Hungry Horse, where he was still living at the time of his death.

Roy was a dedicated meat cutter at Canyon Foods in Hungry Horse. In his spare time he loved to hunt, fish, camp, and spend time with his family and friends (when he wasn't hunting and fishing!).

Roy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Firman and Evelyn Baker of California, Roy and Mildred (Marshall) Moore, and Nettie (Young) Moore, of Havre; uncles, Vance Kardell of Fort Worth, Texas, and Lloyd and Earl Kardell, both of Harlowton; and aunt, Lucille (Kardell) Kickbush, of Whitefish.

He is survived by his soul mate, Ginger Dee Wilborn, and her children, Elexus 'Lexy' and Brandon 'Sumo,' all from Hungry Horse; parents, Jo Pearson of Hungry Horse, and David E. Moore of Marion; sisters, Toni Gervais (Moore) of Kalispell, and Brenda and Chuck Cox of Havre; brother, Gary, and Christine Moore of Havre; nephews, Jason Cross of Billings, David Cross of Great Falls, and Alex and Geoffrey Moore, of Glennwood Springs, Colo.; niece, Amber Cox, of Havre; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind his lovable dog, Chief.

Cremation has taken place, and there will be a celebration of life at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 1, at the South Fork Saloon in Martin City.

There will be a college trust fund set up for Lexy and Brandon at the Wells Fargo Bank, in Kalispell.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
