Man's death probed

A man's body was found along Thompson River near a rangers station Saturday, roughly eight to 12 miles northeast of Thompson Falls.

The Sanders County Sheriff's Office was investigating the unattended death Saturday. Additional information was unavailable Saturday.

The agency has requested that the Flathead County Sheriff's Office and other Montana law-enforcement agencies be on the lookout for a potential suspect. No information about the suspect was available Saturday.
