Just as the Flathead County Sheriff's Office was getting a report from an 83-year-old woman having severe chest pains, a car crashed into the front yard of her home on Swan River Road in the Bigfork area early Friday morning. The Montana Highway Patrol investigated, finding that the driver fled the scene. The woman was taken by Bigfork Ambulance to Kalispell Regional Medical Center, and later in the morning, a man called from a residence on Swan Hall Road to report the crashed vehicle had been stolen.

A disturbance was reported at a home on Harmony Lane in the Evergreen area early Friday.

A range finder, a satellite radio, tools, an MP3 player and a pistol were reported stolen from a vehicle on Elm Avenue in Evergreen Friday morning.

The county's animal warden responded to a report of animal neglect, involving a frozen water trough for horses on North Hill Road.

Items were reported stolen from a vehicle on Birch Drive in Evergreen.

Items were reported stolen from a vehicle that was parked in front of a Hungry Horse bar.

A bag of medication was reported stolen from a vehicle that was parked in front of an Evergreen grocery store.

Thursday evening, there was a report of a Suzuki four wheeler being stolen from a residence on Holt Stage Road.

A domestic disturbance was reported on Mountain Drive in Hungry Horse.

A man, 36, was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstructing a peace officer after he was confronted for making obscene gestures at passing cars on Airport Road.

The sheriff's department received 86 calls for service between 3 p.m. Thursday and 3 p.m. Friday.

Kalispell police

Kalispell Police arrested a man, 19, for theft in front of a Main Street business late Thursday.

There was a report of two men fighting behind a casino on U.S. 2 East.

A man, 19, was arrested for being a minor in possession of alcohol at a convenience store on U.S. 93 South.

Friday morning, there was a rash of reports of thefts from vehicles. A credit card was reported stolen from a vehicle on the 500 block of 10th Avenue West; a coat and $100 cash was taken from a car on the 1000 block of Eighth Street West; $85 and medication was taken from a car on the 500 block of Third Avenue West; items were reported stolen from a vehicle parked at the Kalispell Middle School; a shotgun, binoculars, and a GPS unit were reported stolen from a vehicle on the 600 block of Seventh Avenue West; and tools were reported stolen from a vehicle on the 200 block of 10th Avenue West.

A man, 20, was arrested for outstanding warrants at a Sixth Avenue West residence.

Kalispell Police received 124 calls for service from 3 p.m. Thursday to 5 p.m. Friday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish Police received a report of a vehicle being stolen while parked on Central Avenue Thursday night.

A jacket was reported stolen from a snowboard shop on Central Avenue.

A man, 35, was arrested for driving under the influence on Second Street late Thursday.

A vehicle hit-and-run was reported on Baker Avenue Friday.

A cell phone was reported stolen at Whitefish High School Friday afternoon.

The department received 59 calls for service between 3:15 p.m. Thursday and 3:15 p.m. Friday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls Police arrested a male, 14, for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at the high school Friday afternoon.

The department received 24 calls for service between 3:15 p.m. Thursday and 3:15 p.m. Friday.
