County makes new board picks

The county commissioners last week wrapped up board appointments for the year, including five appointments to the Flathead County Planning Board.

George Culpepper Jr. will replace Gene Dziza on the Planning Board; Dziza did not seek reappointment. Incumbents Marie Hickey-Au Claire, Mike Mower and Rita Hall were reappointed to two-year terms, as was Flathead Conservation District representative Frank DeKort.

Jennifer Draband was reappointed to the Columbia Falls Planning Board. That board has one remaining vacancy.

C. Mark Hash and Craig Wagner kept their seats on the county Board of Adjustment.

On the Whitefish Lakeshore Protection Committee, Sharon Morrison is a new county representative.
