Balanced attack lifts 'Pack

POLSON Ñ A balanced offensive attack carried Glacier to a 71-50 nonconference boys basketball victory over Polson on Tuesday.
Ben Cutler led the Wolfpack, 1-1 with 20 points. Mike Rasmussen followed with 17, Shay Smithwick-Hann added 13, and Colter Hanson finished with 10.
Polson, 0-1, was led by Tim Rausch, 15 points, and Craig Bagnell, 10.
Glacier used a strong second and third period to pull away from Polson. The Wolfpack outscored Polson 17-5 in the second quarter to lead 32-18 at the half.
Glacier followed that with a strong third quarter, outscoring the hosts 22-10.
Glacier continues with nonconference action next Tuesday, hosting Whitefish.
Polson will play in the Northwestern A vs. Southwestern A tournament Friday and Saturday in Hamilton.
