Greg Stoick, 53
Greg Stoick, 53, a lifelong Montana outdoorsman and the owner of Stoick Drug in Kalispell, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, at his home.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 601 First Ave. W., in Kalispell.
Greg is survived by a loving family. They include his children, Andrew "A.J.," Michael and Emily; his wife, Dawn; his parents, Jerry and Betty Stoick; sisters, Carol Lechner and husband, Fred, and Judy Stoick, and his brother, David Stoick and wife, Tracy, all of Kalispell.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary.
Greg was born Feb. 26, 1955, in Missoula. He graduated from Flathead High School and the University of Montana School of Pharmacy. He worked as a pharmacist in Alaska for several years before he and his family relocated to the Flathead Valley in 1996.
Greg's greatest joys usually included adventures in the great outdoors. He and his family enjoyed countless weekends hunting, fishing, hiking and camping. Their usual destination was somewhere down the Swan Valley.
Greg was most at home "in the woods," whether in Alaska in pursuit of big game and salmon, or in Montana, where his children developed their love of hunting and fishing with their father at their side.
Greg was a big supporter of the annual Big Wheels Basketball fundraiser put on by Flathead Industries. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Flathead Industries.
