Flathead County sheriff's deputies responded to Sunrise Drive after a resident called to report that two men were going door-to-door trying to sell puppies.

Elk horns were reported stolen on White Birch Lane.

Vandalism to a Columbia Falls area golf course had become an ongoing problem.

Two men sitting in a car near a Blacktail Mountain Road woman's house struck her as suspicious. She had recently been burglarized.

A Pleasant Valley Road resident keeps stacking items on property owned by a logging company, prompting company officials to file a complaint with the Sheriff's Office.

A student at an Olney area school allegedly sent a threatening note to another student.

Deputies were called to a Preston Drive woman's home after a man allegedly took a car owned by her daughter without permission.

Someone smashed the taillights on a car parked outside an Evergreen sandwich shop.

Deputies responded to Columbia Falls Stage Road after a man and woman were spotted loitering near an unoccupied home. The reporting party suspected the two were casing the joint.

Yelling at a River Place residence was the result of the family playing a board game, not the disturbance a neighbor reported to deputies.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police arrested a 19-year-old man on a Columbia Falls warrant for failing to abide by the terms of his sentence during a traffic stop on First Avenue East.

A man on Fourth Avenue East called police after a woman refused to leave the residence and wouldn't return his stuff.

Officers were unable to locate a coatless woman asking for money near a restaurant on Main and Idaho streets.

Police awoke then spoke with people sleeping in a vehicle on Garden Way.

A driver almost ran another motorist off the road and then pulled into a casino on West Idaho Street. Officers took his keys and told him he could retrieve them when he sobered up.

An 11th Street West woman called because she got several suspicious phone calls. And then the motion sensitive light outside her home activated.

An Empire Loop man called police after his ex-girlfriend showed up to get some of her belongings but then allegedly caused a scene.

A student at Glacier High School was arrested in connection with theft.

Officers responded to Third Avenue West after a resident heard a woman screaming from somewhere down the block and called police. Officers were unable to find anything amiss.

Officers received 68 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia outside a Central Avenue bar.

Officers received 30 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 44-year-old woman on suspicion of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after she allegedly tried to strike other patrons of a bar on Nucleus Avenue.

A 43-year-old man was arrested on a misdemeanor Kalispell warrant after allegedly causing a disturbance at a different Nucleus Avenue bar.

Officers received 22 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to 10th Street East after a 12-year-old got clocked in the head during a pillow fight. Some sort of glass object reportedly had been hidden in the pillow case. Medical personnel did not take the child to the hospital.

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to a restaurant on U.S. 2 after a man involved in a bike wreck came in for help. He was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Bigfork Fire Department responded to a fire in a Dumpster at the Bigfork green box site.
