Libby, Polson, Whitefish, Ronan net wins for Northwestern A boys

HAMILTON - Libby had three players crack double-figure scoring, helping the Northwestern A Loggers edge Southwestern A's Anaconda 54-50 Friday in the Tip-Off Tournament.
Joel Fuller tallied 12 points for Libby, followed by Colton Cannon, 11, and Conner Benson, 10.
Northwestern A held the upper hand in this basketball matchup with Southwestern A on the first day, winning four of the six games.
Tournament action continues today.

Columbia Falls couldn't make-up for a poor first half, falling to Dillon by 15 points.
The Wildcats, 0-1, scored just 12 points in the first half. Dillon wasn't much better, but led at the break by four.
Dillon pulled away with a 21-point fourth quarter.
Michael Williams had 10 points to lead Columbia Falls.

David FauntLeRoy finished with 17 and Aaron Tkachyk was next with 15 as Whitefish pulled away from Corvallis.
