Flathead County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 49-year-old man for misdemeanor partner assault after he allegedly attacked his spouse in a home on Preston Drive in Creston.

A 12-year-old girl allegedly was threatened by a 12-year-old boy on a bus near a West Valley school.

Deputies arrested an East Evergreen Drive girl for family member assault after she allegedly attacked a parent with a telephone following an argument.

Deputies were called to settle a disturbance on U.S. 2 near Lake Five Road. Two drivers reportedly got into an argument after one of them slid off the road.

Deputies responded to the North Fork area to search for a potentially suicidal man. Turns out his car had slid into a ditch about 30 miles up the North Fork Road. He was unharmed.

Deputies received 129 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Kalispell police

A woman told Kalispell police that her ex-boyfriend is texting very personal pictures of her to everyone he knows.

A woman who refused to vacate a room at an East Idaho Street motel was arrested for trespassing.

Officers responded to a business on Second Avenue West after a man was spotted yelling at another man.

Officers received 67 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Whitefish police received 34 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police received 20 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Alarms

The Big Mountain Fire Department responded to a building on Big Mountain Road late Monday after five people got stuck in an elevator that stopped between floors. The occupants were freed in about an hour.

The Kalispell Fire Department was paged out to Fifth Avenue East after a resident reportedly lit a fire under a vehicle to warm the oil pan. The resident was advised this was not a good idea.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to reports of a chimney fire on Haugen Heights, and the Kalispell Fire Department responded to reports of a chimney fire on Third Street West.

Three Rivers EMS responded to Martin City and took a resident coughing up blood to the hospital.
