Irene 'Pete' M. Button, 81

Irene "Pete" M. Button, 81, passed away Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at Brendan House in Kalispell. Pete was born June 4, 1927, in Everett, Wash., to Jay and Margaret Peterson. She was raised in Everett and graduated high school there. Pete married Harvey Button in Everett in 1948.

Pete worked for the B & B Restaurant for 15 years as a waitress and then became a homemaker.

She enjoyed golf and sewing.

She is survived by her husband, Harvey, of Kalispell; son, Harvey "Punk" Button, and daughter, Diane Trout, both of Kalispell.

At Pete's request, there will be no services.
