Jacqueline Joyce Nelson, 76

Jacqueline Joyce Nelson, 76, passed away Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell. Jacqueline was born Jan. 5, 1932, in Whitefish. She grew up in Whitefish and graduated from Whitefish High School.

Primarily a homemaker, Jacqueline volunteered at the hospital in Kalispell, and was a member of the Episcopal Church, Rebekah Lodge and Moose Lodge.

She married Thomas S. Nelson in Whitefish in October 1950.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas S. Nelson; sister, Ann Hale; brother, George Kolizeras; parents, Jack Hagen and Gertrude Gillespie; and by the parents who raised her, Pete and Ada Kolizeras.

Jacqueline is survived by her son, Mallory, and his wife, Gail Nelson, of Chubbuck, Idaho; Pete and wife, Sharon Nelson, of La Grande, Ore.; and Jack Nelson of Kalispell; sister, Electra Lockridge, of Missoula; brother, Lee and wife, Shirley Klem, also of Missoula; and grandchildren, Ryan Nelson of Bend, Ore., Lindsay Nelson of Portland, and Jackie Nelson of Sacramento, Calif.

At her request, there will be no services.
