Kalispell police arrested a 77-year-old man Monday at a local store and charged him with shoplifting an ink cartridge. He was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center after developing breathing problems.
Officers investigated a report of a small black truck with a roll bar spinning brodies in the parking lot west of downtown around 1 p.m.
A woman reported that her clutch wallet was lifted from inside her purse while she was shopping. It contained $75, a driver's license, Social Security card and credit cards.
Two men were arrest for trespassing in a vehicle and theft from a vehicle after a string of complaints from residents on Third and Fourth avenues.
Police arrested a 40-year-old man just after 10 p.m. Sunday on Eighth Avenue West after reports of gunfire. He was charged with discharging firearms in city limits.

A call for an ambulance from Third Street East on Sunday ended with police nabbing two people. A 20-year-old woman was arrested on two warrants for assault and theft and a 27-year-old male was taken in for partner assault as well as two warrants for traffic citations.
Police were called to settle a dispute between a cab driver and his belligerent passenger who decided not to pay his fare. Counseling from police officers changed the passenger's mind and attitude, allowing him to avoid arrest.
