Margaret L. Torgerson, 75

Margaret L. Torgerson passed away Jan. 29, 2008.

She was born July 25, 1932, in Missoula, to Fred and Margaret Berglund.

She met and married Thomas G. Torgerson in August 1959, and lived in Olney until her passing.

Margaret is survived by two children, Melissa of Washington, and Jason of Whitefish; seven grandchildren, Marcus, Ashley, Jade, Skylar, Alexie, Logan and Shawna; sister-in-law, Minnie Torgerson; nieces, Norma McBroom and Terry DuBois; and nephews, Phillip and Freddie Torgerson; great-nieces, Sarah and Raeanna; great-nephews, Lance and Caleb; and numerous loving family and friends who will miss her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom, in September 2005.

She was a stay-at-home mom and made beautiful wedding cakes out of her home for people in the valley.

Later, she went to work at American Timber with her sister-in-law, Minnie, cleaning the office. They enjoyed the time together.

A double memorial service for Margaret and Tom is set for 1 p.m. Feb. 23, at the Olney Fire Department, with a potluck lunch afterward.
