Employers and job seekers can connect at the 2008 Salish Kootenai College Career/Job Fair in Pablo on March 4.

The college, in conjunction with Mission Valley Workforce Center, will host the fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Joe McDonald Health and Education Center.
All employers looking for workers are encouraged to sign up for stations where they can discuss their business, take applications and resumes, and conduct short interviews if desired. One table is $35, and two tables are $45.
Registration deadline is Feb. 15.
Employers will represent a wide variety of career opportunities offering full-time and part-time work, summer employment and internships.
On the other side, prepared applicants are encouraged to attend for a chance to match their skills with employment being offered in the area.
The week before the career fair, on Feb. 27, an afternoon of workshops will be offered to help applicants prepare.
They will cover resum/ writing, what to expect from a career fair, tips and techniques for interviewing, and networking essentials.
