Kalispell police were notified about a hound dog chewing on a deer head in the middle of Empire Loop.

A woman drinking whiskey and threatening suicide on Third Avenue East was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for a mental health evaluation.

At least three people were seen fighting on Liberty Street. The combatants were gone when officers arrived.

A Fourth Avenue West woman called police to request help removing an unwanted person from the residence.

A 30-year-old man was arrested for trying to steal a pair of pantyhose from a grocery store on U.S. 93 South.

Officers arrested a 21-year-old man near the intersection of Main and Idaho streets and a 28-year-old man on Bison Drive for desertion from the armed forces.

A wallet was stolen from the glove box of an unlocked car on Heritage Place.

A man at a motel on U.S. 93 South caused a scene after an employee refused to give him a certain room. Officers told him to keep the noise down. Minutes later, officers were at the same motel investigating an unconnected noise complaint. Several teenagers were seen going into a room and tapping on other guests' windows as they passed by. An 18-year-old man was arrested for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and five other teenagers were cited for possession of alcohol.

Windows were broken out of cars parked on Seventh Avenue West, Sherry Lane, Third Avenue East, and 10th Avenue West.

Two students were seen ripping down a stop sign at the intersection of Fifth Avenue West and 10th Street while they waited for the bus.

Graffiti was found at a sandwich shop on U.S. 93 South.

A car hit a pedestrian in the parking lot of Hutton Ranch Plaza. The pedestrian was not injured.

Someone in the Kalispell area keeps receiving threatening text messages.
