Whitefish police arrested a 19-year-old man on warrants for theft and failure to appear during a traffic stop near the intersection of U.S. 93 and Montana 40.

A 62-year-old man was arrested on U.S. 93 for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without insurance after an attempt to locate his car was broadcast over the police net.

Icy roads are believed to have contributed to three non-injury accidents inside the city limits within an hour.
