Kalispell police arrested a 48-year-old man Friday for sexual assault, trespassing, and destruction of a communications device, all misdemeanors. The man, who knew the alleged victim, reportedly refused to leave the 52-year-old woman's Liberty Street residence, tried to force himself on her, and broke her phone to prevent her from calling police.

Officers served a 23-year-old woman at a Sixth Street West residence with a Montana Highway Patrol warrant for driving on a suspended license.

A man at a motel on First Avenue East told police someone stole his identity and is out to kill him.

A street sign on Sherwood Lane was run over.

Officers took a 14-year-old Golden Eye Court girl threatening suicide to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for a mental health evaluation.

A man followed another man for 20 minutes after they got into an argument on Second Avenue West. Threats allegedly were also made.
