Braves sweep series

Flathead clamped down on Glacier in the second quarter, holding the Wolfpack scoreless en route to a 66-44 Western AA boys' basketball victory Friday night at Flathead High School.
The Braves led 21-15 after the opening period, but busted the game open in the second frame to lead 36-15 at the half before a packed house.
Flathead's Brock Osweiler turned in another double-double with 14 rebounds and 10 points.
Connor Cavigli and Charlie Dotson both pulled down eight rebounds for Flathead, while Danny Salois was credited with seven assists.
Josh Harris led FHS offensively with 17 points. Jake Thiesen added 11.
Glacier's Ben Cutler led all scorers with 22.
The victory gives Flathead the season sweep in the crosstown series. The Braves won the first meeting back on Feb. 1, 81-51.
Flathead (14-5 overall, 6-5 league) completes regular-season action today hosting Missoula Hellgate, 4:30 p.m.
Glacier (3-17, 0-12) ended its regular season.
Flathead and Glacier will be involved in playoff action next week.
