Car was stuck, man wasn't

While responding to reports of suspicious activity on Turtle Mountain Road, Flathead County sheriff's deputies came across a car stuck in the mud. As deputies approached the vehicle, a man took off running across a nearby field.

A Springcreek Drive man notified deputies after receiving a phone call from a former friend saying someone had to put a bullet into him.

A Caroline Drive resident called authorities to report on their neighbor's pit bull, so the neighbor responded by gathering up garbage and dumping it on the person's porch.

Someone passing by a furniture store on Montana 35 in Evergreen reported seeing a man lying under a tree but was too scared to approach him. Paramedics arrived and found a pile of blankets.

A 10-year-old boy was reported for pushing a 10-year-old girl at a bus stop near Willow Glen Drive.

Deputies responded Tuesday to Herron Park and took an intoxicated woman with alcohol poisoning to Kalispell Regional Medical Center. The woman, who is underage, was in the area drinking with two men. One of them slipped and fell on the ice, prompting the initial 911 call. The incident marks the second reported alcohol overdose of 2008 and 24th since June 2005, according to the Alcohol Enforcement Team.
