Hellgate rallies by Bravettes

MISSOULA - Missoula Hellgate outscored Flathead 19-11 in the fourth quarter Saturday afternoon to pull out a 54-50 victory.

Flathead led 39-35 heading into the final eight minutes of play.

Meghan O'Connell and Ally Krautbauer both finished with 12 points for Flathead. Kaylyn Heaton added 11.

Kirsten Vaculik tallied 13 points and Brooke Raunig 12 for Hellgate.

Flathead finished the regular season with a 7-5 mark in Western AA. Overall, the Bravettes are 12-8.

Flathead and Hellgate squared off on Feb. 2 in the FHS gym with the Bravettes beating the Knights 55-50 in overtime. Hellgate blew a 19-point lead in that outing.

Flathead will host a playoff game next week.
