Joyce A. Scarbrough, 74,
passed away at her home on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008. Joyce was born on Dec. 24, 1933, in Providence, R.I., to Tasquale and Sylvia (DeFusco) D'Arezzo. She was raised in Detroit, where she graduated from high school.
Joyce married Alvin Scarbrough on Feb. 22, 1958 in Detroit. He passed away on Nov. 7, 1974.
Joyce worked for 20-plus years as a technical writer for the Chrysler Corporation. She owned her own crafts store for awhile, which she truly enjoyed.
Joyce was also somewhat of a computer person, and enjoyed working on computers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.
Joyce is survived by her two daughters, Susan Wise and her husband Michael of Kalispell, and Carmen Collins; two brothers, Elmer Scarbrough of St. Clair Shores, Mich., and Kerry Ellison of Ola, Ark.; two grandchildren, Joshua and Matthew Benson; and two special aunts, Rose DeFusco of Michigan and Alice DeFusco of Rhode Island.
Private family services were held for Joyce. Buffalo Hill Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for the family.
