Kalispell police arrested a 27-year-old man for theft after he tried to steal a tallboy can of Steel Reserve from a convenience store on U.S. 2.

A woman told police someone was going through her Sixth Avenue West home while she wasn't there.

Officers counseled the driver of a truck that knocked over a garbage can while spinning brodies on Bluestone Drive.

A woman was irritated enough about a dark-colored dog barking while she moved some belongings from a Fourth Avenue East residence to call police.

The driver of a car without a muffler kept revving his engine near the intersection of Second Avenue East North and East Oregon Street. He was gone when officers arrived. Police contacted the driver's parents, who said their son wasn't welcome at their home because he was drinking and driving. The father of a First Avenue East woman later called police to report the same man for stalking his daughter.

A patient on his way to a mental health facility escaped from Kalispell Regional Medical Center. He was recaptured by hospital security.

A car was reported spinning brodies on Second Avenue East North and East Oregon Street.

A house on Wind River Drive was hit Saturday with pink paintballs. So was a house on Pheasant Run. A business on U.S. 93 North was hit by blue paintballs with yellow specks.

A woman who possibly overdosed on sleeping pills at a motel on East Idaho Street requested to be taken to the hospital.
