An Appleway Drive man's estranged wife showed up at the house asking for the return of a piece of jewelry. The man offered to hand it over, but only if she signed a receipt. When Kalispell police were notified, the man was holed up in a bedroom and the woman was banging and kicking at the door. Officers separated the pair.

Some kids who didn't have a room at a motel on U.S. 93 South decided to use the pool anyway.

A blue SUV was spotted pulling a young girl on a sled, which was tied to back of the vehicle, down Four Mile Drive.

A 23-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant for failure to comply with court orders at a bar on West Idaho Street.

A member of an organization based on Airport Road found alcohol bottles by the back fence and requested an extra patrol.

A boy and a girl standing near U.S. 93 North were spotted throwing a big rock at a passing car. Officers picked up two kids nearby for possession of tobacco, but more charges may follow if it turns out they were also responsible for the rock.

A neighbor overheard two Empire Loop girls talking about poisoning animals, again. The pair already allegedly uses a garden hose to antagonize passing dogs, the neighbor told police.
