Flathead County

An adult and supposedly nonalcoholic party at the Grange Hall on U.S. 2 East was infiltrated by youths and by people smuggling in alcohol Saturday afternoon. The Flathead County Sheriff's Office was called. Deputies ticketed at least 10 people on suspicion of underage drinking and shut down the party.

A 9 mm pistol and a cell phone were stolen Saturday afternoon in Marion.

A truck hit an elk on U.S. 2 East on Saturday evening, killing the animal and heavily damaging the truck.

Three horses were found not being fed on Kienas Road on Sunday afternoon.

A dog fell through the ice on the Whitefish River, and somehow got out Sunday afternoon.
