Martin City saloon site of camper fire

A small camper on Old U.S. 2 in Martin City was damaged by a fire Tuesday morning.

The Coram Fire Department, Hungry Horse Fire Department, Martin City Fire Department, and Canyon Quick Response Unit responded to the residence, located near the Deerlick Saloon, just after 9 a.m. No one was home when they arrived, and it took emergency personnel several minutes to get into the locked camper to fight the fire. There were no injuries.
