The Smith Valley Fire Department and Marion Ambulance responded to a 56-year-old man suffering what resembled a stroke in Kila on Saturday evening. He later died at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a chimney fire Saturday evening on Ninth Avenue West.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department responded to one man trapped in a rolled-over vehicle early Sunday morning on U.S. 2. At least one person was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

A transformer went off line early Saturday evening, causing a significant power blackout in the Birch Grove Road and U.S. 2 area, and then reset to return power. Flathead Electric handled the incident.
