Lee A. Diesen, 66, of Plains, passed away of natural causes on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008, at his home.

He was born March 13, 1941, in Minnewaukan, N.D., to Harold and Ella Diesen.

He was a petty officer in the Navy for four years. From there he went to the Anaconda Aluminum Plant and worked there for 20 years. In 1986, he moved to Auburn, Wash., and worked at Government Services Administration for another 20 years. He relocated and retired to Plains with his wife and daughter in 2003.

Lee had many enjoyable past times and always kept himself busy. He tinkered with wood, model airplanes, trains, boats and cars, (anything with a motor), and also received his pilot's license in the early 1970s.

His main concern and love in life were to his family and friends.

Lee is survived by his wife, Geneva; a daughter, Amanda; two sons, David of Arizona, and Jeff of Kalispell; a sister, Ina, of Eureka; four brothers, Carl and Harlan of Plains, Wayne of Washington, and Harold Jr., of Arizona; and many dear friends.

No services will be held per the wish of Lee. A gathering of family members will come together to celebrate his life.

Lee was a dedicated father and husband, and we will all miss him greatly.
