Unusual use of pan prompts call

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to a home on U.S. 93 South after a woman allegedly hit her husband over the head with a frying pan. The man did not need medical attention and deputies separated the couple for the night.

Kids sitting in a car on Flathead Drive were reportedly acting suspicious, but had taken off before deputies arrived.

People on Houston Drive in Whitefish thought they heard a dog fall through the ice on Whitefish Lake. There was yelping, then silence. Responders were unable to find a dog under the ice.
