Ann Sharon Lenon Daley, 66

Ann Sharon Lenon Daley, 66, passed away April 12, 2008, at the home of her brother in Bozeman.

She was born to Percy H. and Margaret (Jacobs) Lenon on Jan. 30, 1942, in Kalispell.

Ann married Bill Daley in July 1962. After completing her degree in education at the University of Montana, she taught at Lakeside Elementary in Lakeside. She then completed several masters degrees, including library science, reading and special education.

In 1982, Ann took a position as a reading specialist for the Department of Defense, which led her overseas. She lived and worked in northern and southeast Germany, Japan, Korea, Newfoundland, Holland, and most recently, Aviano, Italy. Her travels led her to visit six of the seven continents. She retired from the Department of Defense in 1997.

She was a lady of many interests and talents. We will miss her much.

Ann was preceded in death by the two loves of her life, Bill Daley and Stewart Kienow; and one sister, Jean Schlecton.

Survivors include her brother, James, and Peg Lenon of Bozeman; four nieces and one nephew.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. July 27 at Vista Linda in Somers.
