A jewelry store employee asked police for extra patrol after two men and a woman asked questions about store security and a $20,000 diamond.

Officers received 91 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Friday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Flathead County sheriff

A caller asked Flathead County sheriff's deputies to investigate a suspicious aircraft spotted landing in the valley Friday night.

Holiday revelers who reportedly threw rocks and fireworks at passing vehicles drew several complaints in Evergreen.

Deputies received 237 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a man and a woman on a bike path on suspicion of disorderly conduct. He also was ticketed on suspicion of obstructing an officer; she was ticketed on suspicion of open container and resisting arrest.

Officers received 69 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Alarms

A woman was rescued from the North Fork River near Coal Creek Campground on Friday afternoon after her boat got stuck in a log jam. Paramedics started CPR on scene; ALERT helicopter flew her to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
