Man on motorcycle hits deer in park

A 59-year-old motorcycle rider from Reno, Nev. was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center Monday after a 10:15 a.m. collision with a deer about 20 miles up Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier National Park. The man, who was transported by Three Rivers EMS, suffered non-life-threatening injuries to his hip and shoulder. There is no word on what became of the deer, park officials said.

A woman, who had been drinking, was seen crawling through the parking lot of a business on Montana 35 in Bigfork. Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded and summoned an ambulance, which took the woman to Kalispell Regional Medical Center with a hurt knee.

When a woman opened a dry cleaning business on West Idaho Street Sunday morning, she found $400 missing from the safe.

Deputies responded to Deer Street, where a man involved in an ongoing dispute with a neighbor accused said neighbor of flipping him off.
