The Flathead County Alcohol Enforcement Team arrested 20 youths for possession of alcohol over the weekend, bringing the total number of arrests made in July for minor in possession of alcohol to more than 80. Also, two adults were arrested for providing alcohol to minors. Four of the team's arrests occurred during Columbia Falls Heritage Days.

A woman staying in a cabin on U.S. 2 in Coram told Flathead County Sheriff's deputies her landlord hit her in the mouth because she brought a rabbit inside the residence. The landlord, however, said he punched her in self-defense because when he went to confront her about said rabbit, she attacked him.

A woman taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center with a black eye first told deputies she got the shiner from her boyfriend. Later, she said it happened when a door opened in her face. Then she changed her story again and said it happened when she tripped over a diaper bag and hit the coffee table. The woman reportedly had gotten into an argument with her boyfriend about the status of their relationship after attending a wedding.

Someone walking down Middle Road yelling profanities and waking people up was gone when deputies arrived.

Deputies counseled an 18-year-old Columbia Falls man who allegedly pushed his mother while on drugs.

A woman visiting somebody incarcerated at the Flathead County Detention Center was arrested on a warrant of her own.

Within 15 minutes of each other, a Ben Williams Lane resident reported a restraining order violation and the person the restraining order was against reported that the Ben Williams Lane resident was living in substandard conditions. Apparently, the pair was using the Sheriff's Office to facilitate their fight.

Deputies cited a man for trespassing after he allegedly went around two gates and started a fire near a subdivision off U.S. 2 near Marion.

A man found his younger sister, who had been reported as a runaway, at a fast-food restaurant in Evergreen. He forcefully put her and her bicycle into the car and took her home. An onlooker, unaware of the situation, reported the incident as an assault.

A sailboat on Flathead Lake flipped. It was quickly righted and went on its way.

Deputies arrested a 48-year-old man for partner assault after he allegedly pushed a woman off the porch of a house on U.S. 93, hurting her ribs.

People with rafts crossing some railroad tracks near West Glacier were almost hit by a train.

Deputies were unable to find a group of kids reportedly throwing carts around a parking lot on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

A man singing about coming to earth outside a Duff Lane residence was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

A 2001 Kawasaki motorcycle was reported stolen from a business on U.S. 93 South, medication was reported stolen from a residence on Lakehills Drive, a riding lawn mower was reported stolen on Scenic Ridge Road, about $250 in cash was reported stolen from a Bernard Road residence, and guns were reported stolen on Kallner Lane.

A young girl walking down Foothill Road wouldn't tell a passerby what she was up to, so the concerned citizen called deputies. When deputies found the girl, she was already back with her parents.

Deputies 158 received calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Kalispell police

A Third Avenue East North woman told Kalispell police that somebody had replaced all her prescription migraine medication with Tylenol.

A man on Woodland Avenue allegedly hit a young boy in the head, knocking him off his bike. Later, another man allegedly hit a different young boy in the ribs while they walked down Parkway Drive.

Officers responded to Sixth Street West, where a 24-year-old man allegedly was verbally abusing his parents. He broke the phone and then left on a bicycle before deputies arrived.

An older man on a three-wheeled bicycle was hit by a woman driving a pickup truck on Second Avenue East. The man was fine and did not need medical attention.

Kids threw water balloons at a Canvasback Court residence.

A Lambert Court man told officers someone tried to enter his house using a stolen key.

Someone threw a rock through the window of a car parked off Main Street and stole some items inside.

A laptop went missing from a hotel room on U.S. 93 South.

Officers responded to Liberty Street were a neighbor allegedly saw a man punch a woman in the face. Turns out the argument was verbal.

Officers received 50 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Sunday and 2:30 p.m. Monday.

Whitefish police

Signs for the Whitefish farmer's market were stolen from Central Avenue and a generator went missing from an Armory Road residence.

Whitefish police received calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police were called to a field behind a Mexican restaurant on Nucleus Avenue, where a couple was spotted making out.

Officers received 19 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Alarms

Big Mountain Ambulance responded to a four-wheeler crash near Ptarmigan Village. The 46-year-old driver, who reportedly suffered a cut head and injured ribs, was not taken to the hospital.

The Evergreen Fire Department responded to U.S. 2 where a bicycle and car collided. The cyclist was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Smith Valley Fire Department and Marion Ambulance responded to a rollover crash in Kila. The driver, who had a cut on his head, did not go to the hospital.
