Kay Landon "left our world to venture to a special place in heaven" on July 24, 2008. She was in North Valley Hospital. Kay was born May 26, 1940.

Her life touched many people, and she was loved by all who knew her.

The staff at North Valley took very special care of her. "We wish to give them a special thank you for making her last days on this Earth easier and also for helping the family feel comfortable and cared for."

Kay was a dedicated person and had a very unique and special love for animals. She was instrumental in getting a heater and much needed donations for the Spay and Neuter Clinic.

She had been involved with the Glacier Twins while her son played and never missed a game.

The Whitefish Soroptimists played a very important part in her life, and she kept the lists and members organized and always up to date.

She is survived by the loves of her life, her two sons, Scott and his wife, Shanee, of Columbia Falls, and Danny and his friend, Nikki, of Whitefish; and her pride and joy and granddaughter, Briann, of Columbia Falls. She also leaves behind her special pets, Shadow, Stitch and Misty; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Kay will truly be missed but never forgotten.

A celebration of her life will be held at 5 p.m., Friday, Aug. 1, at the Golden Agers, 121 Second St., in Whitefish.

Everyone is welcome to come and share a story or two about Kay.
